THE FOLLOW THROUGH
This
initiative is intended to apply to the entire community of Ozona. OVIS
plans to facilitate and assist the various community partners as the above
strategies are elaborated upon and pursued. It is also the intent of OVIS
that all of the strategies are approached on a collaborative basis. This
document will continue to be circulated throughout the community and public
meetings will be held to engage resident input. As it is being fine-tuned
through public review it will be presented to the Board of County Commissioners
with the goal of progressing ahead with the establishment of the community
wide overlay district. Cooperative interactions with county staff and
departments will be sought. Copies of the Ozona Community Initiative will
continue to be placed in the Village Hall, the Ozona Post Office, and
any other locations that provide for public viewing. It will be published
for circulation to increase awareness and will provide a framework for
actions affecting the Ozona community.
